About the Campus
Where PES's education story began.
People's Education Society opened its Hanumanthanagar institutions in 1972, years before its engineering college would go on to become PES University in 2013. The HN Campus on 50 Feet Road, Banashankari Stage I, is one of the group's founding sites — a compact, urban campus built for accessibility rather than acreage, serving generations of students from South Bengaluru.
Today the campus houses three distinct institutions under the PES banner: PES Pre-University College (pu.pes.edu), offering Science and Commerce streams to roughly 1,600 II PUC students; PES Polytechnic (pespt.pes.edu), running three-year diploma engineering programs affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka; and PES Evening College, a Bangalore University-affiliated evening degree program built for working professionals and students who study outside regular daytime hours.
All programs on campus run under PES's own Campus-wide Quality Improvement Program (CWQIP) — a patented internal quality framework that holds every institution accountable for the teaching-learning process, from the PU classroom to the polytechnic workshop floor.
